Vintage Sterling Castle and Sword Clan Brooch, Medlock & Craik, 1.5" tall and 1.25" wide

Vintage Sterling Castle & Sword Clan Brooch, Medlock & Craik, 1.5" tall and 1.25" wide. This has three hallmarks, first is a thistle, second castle, and lastly a P. This is Scottish as the Medlock & Craik name was used after 1913 when Craik bought out Medlock. It has the wording Defensio Non Offensio in the top of the circle with a raised castle across the center and an arm coming out of the center holding a sword. There are other accents and marking around the remainder of the circle and then at the bottom center it extends lower that the circle. Weight of the brooch is appx. 7.26 gr. Age is estimated at 1940's-1950's. Very good condition. (W3.6-13.21.1X1 SS7759 J LD 7/17/22 LET 3/6/24).
