Vintage 10kt gold .50 ctw blue zircon engagement ring - 1930-1940's. This ring has some wear on the stone as can be seen in the photos. The ring is 5.6mm at the top and tapers down to 1.5 at the back. The band at the top of the ring and toward the shoulders is a mildly ornate design with some ridged and tiered design to it. The facet around the table has wear which is typical of zircon. The gold has some light wear as well but the design of the ring is still present and not that worn. I did not take the stone out of the setting for testing - the identity is based on information provided and the typical wear. This was someone's engagement ring and worn for a long time. A nice history and apparently a long marriage or long love. It is a size 8.75 and weight is 2.32 grams. The photo shows that it has a ring guard sizer/guard on it - that has been removed. It was weighed without the gard. The prongs are a double-ridged prong - it's a round stone in a square setting - the setting is an art deco style. This came from a PA estate sale. The ring is nice but the stone definitely has wear and is priced accordingly. See photos. Visit my other auctions and my Ebay store, Maria's. (Locator Number Win.5.28.16.8X8)

Most photos have been somewhat magnified and therefore any flaws will appear larger than they really are in person. The item may also appear larger. I do try and remember to include measurements - but if not, please ask. I also try to give accurate descriptions and point out flaws.
