Vintage Sterling Silver Ridged Shell-like Pierced Earrings, signed JAB, Taxco, Mexico, 10.66 gr.

Vintage Sterling Silver 1" ridged shell stud earrings, Taxco, Mexico signed JAB with other wording I cannot read. Weight is 10.66 gr, They are domed and remind me of a scallop shell but do not have the points on the back of the shell - they are ridged and angled out somewhat with a domed designed. If you don't think of them as shells, then they are a modern design. I do not believe the butterfly clutches are sterling or original. The post on one is bent at the base but does not interfere with wear. They have typical vintage patina/tarnish that can be cleaned to look new but as many buyers of older pieces prefer them as is, I do not clean except upon request/post purchase. These came from an estate sale in PA. Good condition. See photos.
