Victorian 14kt G.F. Engagement Ring, Size 8, 4.5mm Stone, late 1800's

Victorian 14kt G.F. Engagement Ring - it has a 4.5mm clear stone - not diamond but paste - glass. It is held in a nest-like setting with six prongs. The ring is 6.5mm wide at top and tapers down to about 1.4mm at the back. Size 8. It has a decorative band with scrolled diagonal bands and smooth bands coming down the band on each side of the stone. I acid tested it and for 14kt it remained only slightly reactive after 20 minutes and longer. There are a few wear marks which indicate it is likely gold filled over solid gold - however there is a question as to whether it could be gold. Not Signed. It is from a PA estate. See photos. (Lot.
