Vintage 10kt Art Deco Filigree Amethyst ring - rectangular stone, appx. 5 ctw, set across the finger in white gold and yellow gold with a slight rose hue. The Stone is appx. 11.5mm by 9.5mm step cut with a depth of appx. 5.5mm. Exact measurements are difficult due to setting. It has white gold blossom side accents and scrolled heart designs on the wide sides - the stone is bezel-set and sits up appx. 5.5mm on the finger with the fine filigree setting. The weight of the ring is 2.77 grams. The band at the back is appx. .08m. It is marked 10k on both the front and back long sides of the undercarriage under the stone, not on the band - also tested. I did not see a maker's mark. Age is appx. mid-century, possibly older. The thing that makes this ring a little more special is that the stone is set with the long end across the top of the finger and not down the finger.
