Vintage 12kt Micro Mosaic Goldstone Ring, Early 1900's, Sz. 7.5, 5.17 Grams, Oval, Very Rare

Vintage 12kt Gold Micro Mosaic Ring with Goldstone Frame - this is solid gold, not gold filled. It is a 19.4mm by 15.4mm oval that holds a bezel-set sunstone with inlaid micro mosaic floral design. Early 1900's. 1920's or earlier. It is size 7.5 and weight is 5.17 grams. It's a beauty with the floral design set into the sunstone. This is a rare ring - I have only seen one other and that was only in research and it sold for quite more than what I am offering this ring - actually more than double. The band is 5.3mm wide at the top of the shoulders and tapers to 2.3mm at the back of the finger. The ring does have three cracks in the goldstone and a few chips in the goldstone. The wear is expected given the age. It is not signed - and it tests mildly at 14kt and heavily at 10kt which makes it 12kt and it is solid gold, not filled or plated. 12kt was used more frequently in Victorian days and in the early 1900's. This is not marked so I'm not sure of the maker or country - it probably was marked, there is a 1 inside the band but likely resized which wore of the rest of the marks. I've only encountered micro mosaics mostly from Italy but also from Spain. It was listed as 14kt at the estate auction but I believe it to be 12kt. See photos. This came from a PA estate sale.
