Vintage Sterling Pearl Stem Brooch, 2.75" long and 1" wide. 1940's-1950's. Pearls are appx. 5mm to 5.8mm wide. There are 19 pearls set on two stems that are clustered together with scrolled leaves. The pearls are white and cool to the touch but I think slightly heavier and therefore could be glass. They have a hole drilled to mount to the stem and there is some surface wear on the finish at the whole or to the side on some pearls, it is possible it is a light residue and not worn, from the glue. Very good condition other than what it is noted above however, the marks are hardly visible but visible by magnification and this is still a very nice pin for it's time - it is not a lightweight but a quality design and weight. Photos are magnified so things will appear larger than they are and they are likely in better condition than the photos depict due to the magnification. They are never enhanced.
