Vintage 14Kt Rectangular Tourmaline Ring, Sz. 9.25, 2 TCW, 5 Stones

Vintage 14kt Rectangular Tourmaline Ring, Size 9.25, marked and tested 14kt. Five Stones that are 2 TCW in weight. The stones range from appx. 4.5mm to the largest being 6.8mm long and 4.8mm wide down to 3.0 mm wide. Step cut stones, prong-set and tiered. Weight of the ring is appx. 2.50grams. The ring is 7mm at top and tapers down to 1.5mm at the back of the finger. The ring has a scrolled front and back under the stones. May people are straying from diamonds as engagement rings and this ring works nicely with a simple band.
Very good condition. The stones test as tourmaline and are a deep red/pink/purple look. They are not glass or crystal imitations. They could be natural or possibly lab created. Lab created stones are grown in labs and the stones have the same properties as natural stones. It is very common to do that since the 1900's as most lab created stones are near perfect and have the exact same chemical properties as natural stones and makes jewelry more affordable. These are either natural or created - they are not glass or artificial. Very good condition. This came from a PA estate. See photos. (Lot. Loc. W.5.419.18X7 - LD 587/19).
